Job Functions

  • Ensure plant compliance with current OSHA and other federal, state, and local agency laws and regulations
  • Perform periodic safety and compliance audits
  • Perform accident investigations and implement countermeasures
  • Deliver safety, health, and environmental orientation to new hires, contractors, and others as required
  • Conduct annual compliance training
  • Serve as plant safety and health coordinator

Minimum Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four (4) years of diversified experience in safety, and emergency response management in a manufacturing environment
  • Experienced in emergency response and be able to maintain current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Hands-on, self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Strong customer service orientation
