General Summary:
Work with local Human Resource (HR) Department in support of related program and project implementation or improvement activities. Provides broad level of administrative support for HR policies, programs, procedures, reports reflecting key performance indicators (KPI) and services. Maintaining high level of confidentiality, team work, flexibility, and a learning mindset throughout internship duration.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide functional support to HR policies, programs, procedures, and services.
Coordinate tracking and reporting of HR KPI.
Handle administrative details of the HR department.
Provide general plant administrative support as needed for HR/EHS activities, programs, and projects
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in collegiate degree or associate program
Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Personal/Technical Skills:
Basic working knowledge of human resources/environmental health &safety policies, programs, and procedures in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
Ability to create reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Demonstrates a personality that works in cooperation with other departments towards building a sense of company teamwork.
Strong administrative, analytical, and organizational skills to be able to coordinate HR/EHS activities and functions.
