Job Functions and Skills:

  • Assist with filling open positions with internal and external personnel due to attrition, promotions, and transfers. 
  • Manage the flow and status of candidates through the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Manage 3rd party staffing vendors.  Responsible for contract negotiations related to recruitment.
  • Evaluate recruiting and interviewing processes and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in on-campus events including job fairs, classroom presentations, and employer days.
  • Maintain daily changes or updates to specific staffing reports. 
  • Participate in weekly recruitment meetings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious self-starter.
  • Perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
  • Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Greater than four (4) years of HR experience required.
  • Greater than three (3) years of full cycle recruiting experience for technical/professional positions required.
